This will be our only open-call clean-up event this spring. We need help cleaning & painting the benches, stage, gates & signposts. We will be raking, pruning & other various landscape tasks. |

Brown Box Theatre Project will curate each night’s show on the spot in this interactive, family-friendly evening, where we perform what the audience considers to be the best of Broadway. Through their songwriting and live events, Satigata's aim is to inspire the spirit of meditation, well-being, compassion and freedom through music and a distinctive community experience. This concert will feature original music and interactive chanting, to celebrate a contemplative community spirit much needed in the modern world. The sound is heavily based in improvisation and jazz but also draws form influences in the hip-hop, soul and R&B world. The band was originally founded by bassist Yogi Saint-Louis wile he was attending the Berklee College of music. The rest of the band came together soon after, and has featured a number of musicians and styles from all around the world including Indonesia, the Bahamas, Spain and many more geographical inspirations over the past few years. The band features: Seba Molnar - sax, Jens Sweeting - keys, Yogi Saint-Louis - bass, Ryan Scalia - drums & Sam Walukouw - percussion. |

Blending traditional Buddhist chants, Tibetan singling bowls & bells with acoustic guitars, hand drums, glockenspiel, flute, electric wind instruments and vocals, Satigata is an exploration of contemplative music, mantra & mindfulness practice. Satigata is at the crossroads of Buddhist practice, chanting, and the accessibility of acoustic American folk-rock. It blends melodic and rhythmic sounds with interactive chanting to inspire wisdom, compassion and a community spirit. Through their songwriting and live events, Satigata's aim is to inspire the spirit of meditation, well-being, compassion and freedom through music and a distinctive community experience.
